Spring Peas And Potatoes

- 24 small new potatoes
- 2 cups garden peas shelled
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 cup whole milk
Directions

1Place a steamer basket in a pot with water.

2Steam the potatoes for 12-15 minutes depending on the size of the potato (the potatoes I found were maybe ping pong ball size).

3Add the shelled, rinsed peas and steam for an additional 3-5 minutes.

4Drain the peas and potatoes.

5Cut the potatoes into bite size pieces.

6Put the potatoes in a pot with several tablespoons of butter and add salt and pepper.

7Cook for several minutes.

8Add peas and cover with milk (I used about 1 cup of whole milk).

9Cook on low for maybe 5-8 minutes.

10Dish and serve.
