Squash Casserole

  • 3 c. squash, cooked and mashed
  • 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm dressing mix (blue package)
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts

Directions

    Mix squash, sour cream, soup, onion and water chestnuts.

    Melt margarine and pour 1/2 in large baking dish.

    Spread over bottom. Sprinkle 1/2 of dressing mix on top of butter.

    Pour in squash mixture.

    Layer with remaining dressing mix and then remaining butter.

    Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes.
