- 1 1/2 to 2 qt. sliced yellow squash
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 small box Velveeta cheese, cut cheese in small chunks
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 to 10 crumbled saltines
- margarine for top
Directions

1Cook squash and onion together until tender.

2Drain and place in a casserole dish.

3Add margarine and Velveeta, salt and pepper. Stir well.

4Top with crumbled saltines and dot with margarine (approximately 1/2 cup).

5Bake at 350° for about 20 to 30 minutes or until cheese melts and crackers brown on top.
