Ingredients
- 2 pkg. frozen squash or 5 lb. fresh
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook squash, onion and 1/2 cup water until tender.

2Add salt and pepper to taste.

3Cook until all water evaporates.

4Mix flour, milk, eggs, butter, salt, sugar and cheese.

5Stir into squash mixture.

6Pour into greased casserole.

7Bake at 350° about 45 minutes.

8You can add bread crumbs on top if you wish.
