- 1 1/2 lb. squash
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 2 c. croutons
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 stick margarine, divided (3/4 stick and 1/4 stick)
Directions

1Melt 3/4 stick margarine in casserole.

2Slice squash; boil and drain.

3Put 1 cup croutons in casserole with margarine.

4Mix all ingredients together.

5Pour over 1 cup croutons.

6Top with other cup of croutons and 1/4 stick margarine.

7Bake in a 350° oven until done, about 45 minutes.
