- 3 yellow squash
- 2 c. saltine crackers
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 2 c. water
- 1 chopped onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cut squash into 1/4-inch slices and boil in water for ten minutes; drain well.

2Melt margarine in 9 x 13 baking dish.

3Crush crackers into crumbs and mix with melted margarine.

4Add squash and remaining ingredients and mix well.

5Cover dish with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Remove foil and sprinkle with cheese and return to oven for 10 minutes to melt cheese.
