- 5 or 6 yellow squash, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- salt and pepper
- butter
- 1 or 2 boiled eggs, sliced
- 1/2 block Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
Directions

1Boil squash in a small amount of water (slightly).

2Grease a casserole dish.

3Drain squash.

4Add a layer of squash, onion and cheese; dot with butter.

5Add salt and pepper.

6Repeat another layer of same.

7Add sliced eggs.

8Pour mushroom soup over top and sprinkle with bread crumbs.

9Bake until bubbly and brown, about 20 to 30 minutes.
