- 3 lb. yellow squash
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 small grated onion
- 1/4 c. cracker crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Slice and boil squash in salt water for 10 minutes.

2Drain. Mash and mix with other ingredients.

3Sprinkle cracker crumbs on top.

4Bake in a greased casserole dish in a 350° oven for at least 30 minutes or until golden brown.
