Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. yellow squash
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 small grated onion
  • 1/4 c. cracker crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Slice and boil squash in salt water for 10 minutes.

    Drain. Mash and mix with other ingredients.

    Sprinkle cracker crumbs on top.

    Bake in a greased casserole dish in a 350° oven for at least 30 minutes or until golden brown.
