Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. squash
  • 2 large onions
  • salt to taste
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 8 oz. carton sour cream
  • 1 small jar diced pimentos
  • grated cheese (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine

Directions

    Boil squash, onions and salt until tender.

    Drain and add chicken soup, celery soup, sour cream, pimentos, salt, pepper and grated cheese (optional).

    Mix stuffing mix and margarine. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with Pam.

    Put 1/2 dressing mix in bottom of dish.

    Pour squash mixture in pan and top with remaining stuffing mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
