Squash Casserole

  • 5 yellow squash
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • bread or cracker crumbs

Directions

    Slice squash and boil until tender.

    Drain . Mix milk and egg. Put squash, milk and egg mixture in casserole dish.

    Add cheese, salt, pepper and butter.

    Top with cheese and crumbs.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.

    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
