Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 box croutons
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 lb. yellow squash
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Melt butter and mix with croutons.

    Place half of this in a 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Cook the sliced squash and chopped onion.

    Salt to taste.

    Drain and add soup and sour cream and pour into casserole. Spread grated cheese on top and sprinkle with remaining croutons. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
