Squash Casserole

  • 2 lb. yellow squash (about 2 qt.)
  • 1 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 2/3 c. sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. cornbread crumbs

Directions

    Cook squash and onion in small amount of water until tender; drain off water.

    Mix 1/3 cup of margarine, sour cream, salt and pepper into squash and onion.

    Place in greased casserole.

    Cover with topping made with melted margarine and cornbread crumbs. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
