- 2 lb. yellow squash (about 2 qt.)
- 1 Tbsp. grated onion
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 2/3 c. sour cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 1 1/2 c. cornbread crumbs
Directions

1Cook squash and onion in small amount of water until tender; drain off water.

2Mix 1/3 cup of margarine, sour cream, salt and pepper into squash and onion.

3Place in greased casserole.

4Cover with topping made with melted margarine and cornbread crumbs. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
