- 4 lb. yellow squash
- 2 lbs. zucchini
- 1 onion
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- salt & pepper
- 1 c. grated cheddar cheese
- 1 c. grated velveeta cheese
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. cream
Directions

1Cook sliced squash, zucchini and onion in small amount of water, with sugar and salt until tender.

2Drain.

3Add butter and mash well.

4Season with salt and pepper.

5In a deep 2 quart casserole make 4 layers of vegetable and mixed cheese ending with cheese layer.

6Combine milk and cream and pour over all.

7Sprinkle more cheese on top, if desired.

8Bake 300 for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
