  • 1 qt. squash (cook in water and drain)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 stick or 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 pkg. instant stuffing mix (chicken flavoring)

Directions

    Mix cooked squash, onion, mushroom soup and sour cream in mixing bowl.

    In another bowl, pour melted butter over stuffing mix in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Cover with squash mixture.

    Top with remaining stuffing mix.

    Bake until crisp on top at 325°.
