Squash Casserole

  • 1 (1 lb.) can squash
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. crumbled cornbread
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Directions

    If fresh squash is used, cook until tender.

    Mash cooked squash.

    Add butter, slightly beaten egg, cheese, crumbs and milk. Mix well.

    Put in a greased baking dish and bake, uncovered, at 300° for 1 hour.
