- 3 lb. squash, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- potato chips, crumbled
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1/2 lb. American cheese
Directions

1Cook squash and onion in salted water until tender.

2Drain and put into buttered 2-quart casserole.

3In saucepan, melt butter. Add the flour, gradually add milk.

4Stir in cheese and simmer until melted.

5Pour sauce over squash; sprinkle potato chips on top.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
