Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 8 medium yellow squash
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Cook squash in salted water until tender. Drain and mash. Cook bacon until crisp.

    Drain and crumble. Saute onion in bacon drippings. Combine all ingredients and stir well.

    Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
