  • 2 c. cooked squash
  • 1 c. bread crumbs, toasted
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Melt butter in hot milk.

    Pour over bread crumbs.

    Mix well. Add squash, salt and pepper.

    Stir in beaten eggs and pour in greased baking dish.

    Cover with grated cheese.

    Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350° or until set.
