Squash Casserole

  • 1/2 stick butter, melted
  • 1 large skillet of cornbread, crumbled
  • 1 large green pepper and onion
  • 2 c. cooked, mashed squash
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Crumble cornbread; mix with melted butter.

    Cook squash with onion and green pepper.

    Mash squash.

    Add sour cream, soup and sugar.

    Put 1/2 of cornbread mixture in the bottom of the pan. Add the squash mixture and the rest of cornbread on top.

    Bake at 350° for 30 or 40 minutes, or until brown.
