- 4 c. cornbread, crumbled
- 1/2 stick margarine, melted
- 3 c. cooked mashed squash
- 1/2 stick margarine, melted
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped or as much as you like
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Mix cornbread crumbs and 1/2 stick margarine. Place 1/2 of this mixture in a greased casserole. Mix the squash with the remaining ingredients and pour over the cornbread crumbs. Top with the remaining cornbread crumbs and bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
