- 1 lb. squash
- 1 small onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Combine first two ingredients. Cook, drain and mash. Add remaining ingredients, reserving 1/2-cup cheese to sprinkle over top. Pour into buttered casserole. Bake at 375° until firm and cheese is brown.
