  • 5 to 6 medium squash
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/4 c. canned milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 5 double saltines crackers, crumbled or 1 c. Pepperidge Farm stuffing
  • 4 slices cheese, broken in pieces

    Wash and trim squash.

    Cover with water; boil until done.

    Add onion.

    Drain well.

    Mix all ingredients.

    Place in 2-quart baking dish.

    Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
