- 2 lb. yellow squash
- 3 tsp. butter
- 1 c. Ritz crackers
- 1 c. sharp cheese
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg
Directions

1Chop squash and onion and boil together until tender.

2Remove from heat and drain, then stir in salt, pepper, milk, butter and egg; mix well.

3Crush crackers.

4Grate cheese, then pour into 2 layers.

5Start with squash, then cheese and crackers.

6Repeat again.

7Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
