  • 1 1/2 c. mashed squash
  • 2 Tbsp. pimento
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, diced
  • 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, diced
  • 1 c. saltine cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. scalded milk
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt and pepper

Directions

    Combine all ingredients.

    Add scalded milk last.

    Melt butter in milk.

    Bake about 30 or 40 minutes at 350° until thoroughly hot.

    Turn down to 300° and cook until golden brown.

    Better to let stand 1 hour before baking.
