Squash Casserole

Ingredients
- 6 c. sliced yellow squash
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing
- 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Directions

1Cook squash in salted water until tender.

2Drain well and mix with mayonnaise, butter, egg and sugar.

3Salt and pepper to taste. Pour in lightly greased 2-quart casserole. Crush stuffing and brown in butter.

4Add pecans and cover top of casserole.

5Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.

6Serves 8.
