Squash Casserole(Serves 8)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. squash
  • 3/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
  • buttered bread crumbs or Pepperidge Farm cornbread stuffing
  • dash of salt and pepper

Directions

    Cook squash and onion in saucepan with water until tender. Drain and place in casserole.

    Sprinkle cheese, salt, pepper and sugar over squash.

    Add Cheese Sauce.

    Top with bread crumbs. Cook at 350° for 30 minutes.
