- 3 qt. yellow squash
- 3 qt. cucumbers
- 6 medium onions
- 1 c. salt
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 1/2 qt. vinegar
- 6 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. mustard seed
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. turmeric
Directions

1Slice and combine cucumbers, onions and squash.

2Add salt. Let stand for 3 hours then drain.

3Combine seasonings and vinegar. Bring to a boil.

4Add cucumber squash and onions.

5Heat to simmering.

6Point and pack in hot sterilized jars.

7Seal immediately (do not boil pickles, as this will cause them to become soft).
