Squash Dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 c. squash, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 2 c. cornbread crumbs
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Put squash and onion in water and simmer for 10 minutes.

    Drain and mash.

    Combine with remaining ingredients.

    Pour into buttered casserole dish and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
