  • 1 pkg. cornbread mix, baked
  • 2 lb. yellow squash, seasoned, drained and mashed
  • 2 c. milk (crumble cornbread into milk)
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 Tbsp. sage
  • 1 c. shredded cheese
  • 1 c. onion
  • 1 c. celery

Directions

    Melt oleo; saute onion and celery.

    Add undiluted soup, squash, cornbread soaked in milk and sage.

    Pour in greased casserole dish.

    Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
