Squash Medley With Tomatoes

- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
- 1 lb. squash
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 4 oz. cheese, grated
- 1 c. bread crumbs, fine and dry
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Saute onions in half of butter.

2Cook squash.

3Combine cooked squash, sauteed onions, tomatoes, cheese, salt and pepper.

4Place mixture into one greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.

5Melt remaining butter, add bread crumbs and stir until browned.

6Spread bread crumbs over top of squash mixture.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
