Squash Medley With Tomatoes

  • 1/2 c. onions, chopped
  • 1 lb. squash
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 oz. cheese, grated
  • 1 c. bread crumbs, fine and dry
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Saute onions in half of butter.

    Cook squash.
  3. 3
    Combine cooked squash, sauteed onions, tomatoes, cheese, salt and pepper.

    Place mixture into one greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.

    Melt remaining butter, add bread crumbs and stir until browned.

    Spread bread crumbs over top of squash mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
