  • 2 c. squash, cooked
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. or more minced onion
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 3 slices fried bacon
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Slice summer squash and cook in small amount of water; add 3 tablespoons butter and 3/4 cup or 1 cup crumbs or crackers.

    Add salt, pepper, beaten eggs, onion and milk.

    Mix some cheese in the mixture.

    Place the rest of cheese and bacon on top.

    Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
