  • 8 c. sliced squash
  • 2 c. onion
  • 4 sweet peppers
  • 3/4 c. salt
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 2 tsp. whole cloves

    Boil 2 or 3 minutes; fill jars with squash mixture and liquid. Have tops and rings boiling hot and seal in jars.
