- 8 c. thinly sliced squash
- 2 c. thinly sliced onions
- 2 c. vinegar
- plain salt
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 3 c. sugar
Directions

1Combine squash and onions; sprinkle with salt.

2Let set for 1 hour.

3Drain off liquid.

4Mix vinegar, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed in a saucepan.

5Bring to a hard boil; then add squash and onions.

6Bring to a boil and then fill jars.
