  • 1 gal. squash
  • 4 c. vinegar
  • 8 med. onions
  • 1 1/2 turmeric
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 4 c. sugar

Directions

    Slice squash and onions very thin. Put in water and salt. Cover and soak for 3 hrs. Drain off water. Mix vinegar, sugar, and spices. Boil 7 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
