Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 c. squash, sliced thin
  • 2 c. onion, sliced into rings
  • 2 green peppers, sliced
  • 2 red peppers, sliced
  • salt to taste
  • 2 c. white vinegar
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. white mustard seed
  • 2 tsp. celery seed

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients and let stand for 1 1/2 hours.

    Mix together vinegar, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed.

    Bring to a boil.

    Pour over squash mixture and bring to boil again.

    Pack in sterilized jars.
