- 8 c. sliced squash
- 2 c. onions, cut up
- 1/4 c. salt
- 2 bell peppers, cut up
- 2 small hot peppers, cut up
- 1 small jar pimento
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. whole mustard seed
Directions

1Mix first 6 ingredients together.

2Cover with ice water and let stand for 1 1/2 hours.

3Mix together next 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 5 minutes.

4Drain squash mixture and add to liquid.

5Let come to a boil and can.

6Yield: 4 pint jars.
