- 8 c. sliced squash
- 2 c. sliced onion
- 2 medium bell peppers
- 1 small jar pimentos
- 1/2 c. salt
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Layer vegetables with salt and ice.

2Let stand at least three hours.

3Boil sugar, vinegar, seed and turmeric.

4Add drained vegetables.

5Bring back to boil.

6Put in jars and seal.

7Process in water bath for 15 minutes, simmering.
