- 4 c. onions, chopped fine
- 2 bell peppers, chopped fine
- 5 Tbsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. vinegar
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Mix the first 4 ingredients.

2Cover; let stand overnight in refrigerator, then wash and drain.

3Mix the next 6 ingredients; bring to boil.

4Add the first 4 ingredients.

5Let this get hot for about 15 minutes, then put in jars.
