  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. scalded milk
  • 1 yeast cake
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. summer squash, liquefied
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • mace or cinnamon

    Let rise until double in bulk.
