- 1 1/4 lb. yellow squash
- 1/2 c. fine chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
Directions

1Cook squash; drain and mash.

2Add sugar and salt.

3Mix well. Add eggs and cracker crumbs.

4Chill overnight.

5Spoon out mixture. Roll lightly in cornmeal.

6Fry in deep fat until firm.
