- 2 or 3 squash
- onion
- 8 or 10 crackers or bread crumbs, crumbled
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs, separated (save whites)
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook until tender the squash and onion.

2Drain and mash.

3Mix all ingredients together and fold in beaten egg whites.

4Pour in buttered dish.

5Bake at 300° for 30 minutes.
