Ingredients

  • 3 lb. yellow or zucchini squash
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • garlic salt to taste
  • dash of Tabasco sauce
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 lb. saltines, crushed
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Chop squash and onion; cook until tender and drain well.

    Mix in all other ingredients and stir in saltines.

    Place in buttered casserole and bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
