  • 2 lb. yellow squash
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. powdered milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 scant c. grated cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cut squash and onion and cook until tender in a small amount of water. Break up lightly. Add milk, egg, butter, cheese, salt and sugar. Mix. Pour in greased baking dish and sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs. Bake in 350° oven for about 25 minutes or until firm.
