  • 3 c. cubed squash
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can condensed chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. chopped toasted almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. diced pimento
  • 1/4 c. buttered bread crumbs

Directions

    Cook squash in salted water about 5 minutes and drain.

    Butter medium size baking dish lightly.

    Alternate layers of squash, soup (undiluted), almonds, pimento and dot with butter.

    Cover with bread crumbs and bake in 375° oven, depends on your stove (approximately 20 minutes).

    Makes 6 servings.
