- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of sugar
- milk
Directions

1Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.

2Add enough milk to make a stiff dough.

3Place onto floured board.

4Flour hands and pinch off dough, rolling into sticks about twice as thick as the size of a pencil.

5Drop into deep bacon fat and fry until brown.

6May also roll out and cut into strips or squares and fry in hot fat.

7Delicious with beans.
