- 4 to 5 lb. corned beef
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 (15 oz.) can beef broth
- 2 potatoes, quartered
- 3 carrots, cut into 2-inch chunks
- 2 onions, quartered
- 1 cabbage, cut into wedges
Directions

1Combine beef, garlic, bay leaf and broth.

2Cover and cook in a 300° oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

3Remove cover and add vegetables. Cover again and continue cooking, approximately 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
