- 1 to 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 can French fried onions
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 c. sour cream, divided
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 egg, with 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can Hungry Jack biscuits (10)
Directions

1Brown ground beef and drain off fat.

2Sprinkle onions over beef (reserve 1/2 cup).

3Sprinkle sliced mushrooms over onions.

4Combine 1/2 cup sour cream and mushroom soup in saucepan.

5Heat until boiling point is reached.

6Pour over ground beef mixture.

7Cut biscuits in 1/2 (1/2 moon shape) and arrange around casserole. Sprinkle 1/2 cup onions in center.

8Beat egg, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 cup sour cream and pour over biscuits around edge of casserole. Bake at 350° until biscuits are browned, approximately 30 minutes.
