- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (reserve juice)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. dry sherry
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 3 c. hot cooked rice
Directions

1Cut steak into thin strips.

2Brown in vegetable oil.

3Add onions.

4Blend soup, sherry, juice from mushrooms and garlic salt. Pour over steak.

5Add mushrooms.

6Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until steak is tender (or can cover and bake at 350°).

7Serve over hot rice.
