  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c. beer
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 4 slices toast, spread with mustard on top
  • 1/2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. oregano

    Mix all ingredients and put over chopped steak in a casserole dish and add other mixture.

    Bake for about 1/2 to 1 hour.

    It is real good and better the next day.
