- 1 chuck steak
- 1 can crushed tomato
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1 lb. ziti
Directions

1Saute garlic in olive oil in a large frying pan until golden. Add crushed tomatoes, parsley, oregano, basil and salt.

2Trim excess fat from steak; wash and pat dry.

3Put steak in sauce. Cover and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours.

4Add 1 cup of water and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.

5Boil water for pasta in a 3-quart pot according to package directions.

6Take steak out of sauce and cut into serving pieces.

7Add sauce to pasta and serve with grated cheese.
